Smoothie bowls changed my breakfast game for the better. What exactly is it? Smoothie bowls are thicker than your average smoothie, so thick in fact, you need a spoon to eat it. The best part is, you get to top it with as much as you like since there’s so much more surface area! Below is my recipe and step by step guide for creating a delicious smoothie bowl.
Frozen berries (I use mostly blueberries and some raspberries and strawberries)
½ frozen avocado
Unsweetened almond milk (or any other nut milk)
Optional: collagen peptides, tocos, acai powder
Toppings: almond butter, granola, berries, anything you like!
Put berries in blender. I love using a mix of raspberries, blueberries, and 4-5 strawberries.
Put avocado in blender, add almond milk until almost all berries are covered.
Add collagen, tocos, and acai powder (about 1 tbsp of each).
Blend until smoothie consistency is creamy and thick.
Top it off with whatever your heart desires! I love using almond butter and granola.
