the power of gratitude
Updated: Aug 15, 2018
With Thanksgiving coming up, it only seemed fitting to talk about gratitude this week.
When you enter the spiritual world, you may start to notice that gratitude is a common
thread woven into many conversations. It is known that where your energy flows, your attention goes. When we can shape our thoughts from a place of love and truth, the more happiness we will experience.
Gratitude has the power to instantly bring out your truth, love, and inner state of being. It is a direct connection to the present moment and allows you to experience your true self. Gratitude gives you an opportunity to raise your frequency to a higher, loving state. The higher the frequency, the more you will attract love and light into your life.
One of the main things I learned about gratitude was that not only does it raise your frequency and bring pure happiness into your life, it can transform your life and give you direction on your darkest days.
The true work for gratitude comes in when you don’t want to be grateful. In reality, those are the days you need gratitude the most.
Gratitude practices to work into your every day life:
Journaling what you are grateful for
Don't over think it, just write down whatever comes to mind!
Show gratitude to people who love you
Share something they did for you that made a difference
Tell them you are grateful for them
Show gratitude to people who challenge you
Seek to understand instead of being understood
Kill them with kindness
Show gratitude to yourself
Schedule a date with yourself
Make a list of things you are proud of
I want to end this post with a gratitude mantra. Please feel free to use it and let it guide you through this holiday season.
Thank you universe for all that I am and all that I am becoming.
