Bask Hot Yoga | Wednesday 8:00-9:00p | Saturday 10:15-11:30a
I started off my yoga journey taking hot yoga classes and stepped away from them for some time. After 4 years of consistent practice, I started to take more and more hot yoga classes. This lead me to want to teach and share the benefits of hot yoga with other yoga practitioners. These classes are challenging both mentally and physically and allow you to explore your body and mind’s limits. If you are looking to expand and lengthen your body, mind, and spirit, come check out this class with me!
I instantly gravitated to flow classes as soon as I started my yoga journey. Flow classes are set at an intermediate pace, which allows you to explore poses and sequence. I also offer many variations so you can deepen your practice as you feel ready. Flow classes are a safe space to find your rhythm and link poses together using the breath as your guide. Vinyasas are used between sequences to cleanse and work all the muscles in the body. My favorite thing about flow classes are they are limitless and allow beginners and advanced practitioners a space to practice side by side.
This class introduces and explores poses and yoga topics. The poses are broken down from the ground up to understand alignment and how to keep your body safe and secure. Some yoga topics such as breath work, meditation, and yoga philosophy are briefly introduced in order to expose you to the yoga practice. Roots classes are a great way to start your yoga journey and give you a space to refine postures. I will give you the tools you need to enter poses safely, build strength, learn about and refine your practice, and explore the mind-body connection.
My teacher Cathy Madeo developed this class after much success with her YouTube videos. I would complete her videos most mornings before classes in college and more recently, before work. This class is designed to move your yoga practice to the next level through core conditioning exercises. During the class you will learn about different core muscle groups, drills to strengthen the core, and develop awareness on how to engage the core in different yoga poses.
